"She loved the smell of wet dirt the way others might love the smell of roses" Dawn Hewitt
Bill Guerin
I began working with clay in 1976 while attending graduate school in Florida. Following an eighteen year hiatus, I rekindled my affair with clay in 1996 first as a student, then as a visiting potter, and finally as a member of the Potters' Guild. Durability, utility and beauty are objectives I strive for in my work. Working in both stoneware and porcelain allows me to explore a wide variety of forms and glaze treatments.
